Commissions

I offer three different types of commissions. The first is called, The Closest Thing to Being There, which is a combination of YOUR photographs and MY painting. Talk about a double-take! These are fun, creative, energetic “collage paintings” in which you are really IN the painting. I will be happy to quote you a price once I see your photograph.

The second category I offer is Realistic Portraiture, done using acrylic paints. Usually placed in a much-loved setting, I strive for the correct nuance and emotion that you felt when you took your photographs. Please browse through the Portraits Portfolio to get ideas for your own commissioned portrait.

Describe Your Vision – Have you ever wanted something specific but didn’t know where to get it? Since I’m so eclectic in my subject matters and genres, there’s a good chance I can satisfy your request. “Colorful Desert,” seen on the left, evolved out of the "Describe Your Vision" concept. The client had a totally neutral family room that demanded some much-needed color to brighten it up. This 30" x 40" painting now sits above her fireplace. The pen and ink/colored pencil drawing of butterflies, found in "Still Lifes and Wildlife" was done for an Arizona collector who travels the world in search of unique butterflies.

Sometimes, your vision just has to be manifested and it’s not readily or affordably available. Give me a call to discuss it. If I can do it, I will happily oblige.
